Girls day at SERO Rohrbach
This year a Girls Day took place at SERO. On 28.04.22, we were able to give five young girls the opportunity to gain an insight into production here at our company and to get to know jobs such as electronics technician, warehouse logistics specialist or an employee in the quality department.
The supporting program consisted of a presentation of the company, a tour of production and an open question and answer session.
Girls Day presents professions in which women are seldom represented. Its aim is to broaden professional horizons and reduce inhibitions. Girls Day is also intended to motivate girls to take up technical professions. The aim, of course, is also to increase the proportion of female employees in so-called "male professions" and reduce a shortage of skilled workers in industry.
We hope that the young ladies will now find it easier to make a decision when
choosing their future careers and wish them all the best!
