Accelerated integration and collaboration
In 2021, Syncron set out on a path to achieve a bigger and brighter future with renewed investment and a management commitment to take Syncron to the next level. It became increasing clear through the year that Syncron could have a bright future with the SERO EMS Group.
In 2022, Syncron formally joined SERO and Semecs as part of the SERO EMS Group. Plans and budgets were made, and changed, and changed again, as the challenges of integration and collaboration were encountered and overcome, one by one.
In May 2023 the infrastructure up-fit was as good as completed:
- New employee entrance, LED lighting throughout, Barrier wall for ESD access control, High-conductivity ESD epoxy floor, Turnstiles / ESD testers for access to production areas, New access control system for all doors & entrances, Fast-open doors in warehouse and box-build areas, Added cubicles for additional staff, Relocated box-build operations to new up-fit area, Relocated manual solder operations, Nitrogen tanks and plumbing.
