SERO Rohrbach - X-Ray Line with Viscom X7056 II installed
Optical inspection systems are no longer sufficient for reliable inspection of the steadily growing number of components with hidden solder joints. At the same time, the demands on solder quality, such as minimizing air inclusions in the solder joint (so-called voids), are increasing.
This makes the use of X-ray technology essential to ensure consistently high quality for our customers. Therefore, after defining the requirements as well as a market research and the evaluation of several manufacturers, the X-ray system X7056II from Viscom was purchased for the Rohrbach location.
This combination unit includes a modern and highly accurate 3D X-ray system (3D-AXI) as well as a 3D-AOI.
